Medical Student Observers

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health pre-clinical observations/job shadows are available. They are approved by the individual departments based on the availability at your requested time.

• Work with the individual department to identify a host.
• Once a host has been identified, have the host contact:
  
  • For VMMC: Send host the internal link for more information on Hosting a Medical Student, Resident or Fellow at VMMC.
  • For VMFH: Contact the Volunteer Services office at [email protected].
• Complete necessary packet paperwork and work closely with the “host” to make further arrangements for the experience.
