    Cardiovascular fellowship program

    At Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, our cardiovascular fellowship program plays a crucial role in advancing cardiovascular care. This three-year ACGME accredited fellowship provides fellows with comprehensive, advanced training in the care of cardiovascular patients. Our fellows work closely with our expert team, contributing to the exceptional care we provide throughout the Puget Sound. Learn more.

  • Our Level II Trauma Center at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma accepts trauma transfers from EMS and hospitals inside and outside of our system in accordance with protocol, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  

    Please call the trauma transfer line at (855) 872-8626 (855-TRAUMA6) to request a transfer to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma. The Trauma Transfer Line is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are answered by a Transfer Specialist.

Clinical Trials

At the Benaroya Research Institute at Virginia Mason, our physicians and researchers are always enrolling patients for hundreds of ongoing clinical trials, including multi-center national studies.
