As part of our mission to create healthier communities, we support the charitable efforts of local organizations through sponsorships and program funding. Community Health Improvement Grants are generally used to fund projects that address VMFH’s community health priorities. Corporate sponsorships are generally for events that support local nonprofit organizations who align with our mission. Please explore these options in more detail below.
The Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) Community Health Improvement Grants program is funded by contributions from our 8 hospitals around Puget Sound. In awarding community grants, VMFH actively partners with nonprofit organizations working to improve health status and quality of life in the communities we serve.
Community Health Improvement Grants can be anywhere from $20,000-$100,000. Grants must have 2 or more collaborative partners, align with VMFH community health priorities, and seek to reduce identified health disparities. The program is one way VMFH puts its mission and values into practice.
