As part of our mission to improve the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health assesses the health needs of the communities we serve.
We conduct a community health needs assessments (CHNA) once every three years, to meet federal and state requirements as a not-for-profit hospital. In addition, the CHNAs help the Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Board of Directors understand your health needs and develop strategies to meet them, in collaboration with our community partners. Our CHNA drives our community work and allow us to focus our efforts on the areas of most need.
