The Digestive Disease Institute hosts a comprehensive multidisciplinary educational course centered on live endoscopy cases treating a range of digestive diseases and disorders. Advanced endoscopic procedures are transmitted in high definition from Virginia Mason’s Integrated Procedural Center in real time for physician, advanced practice and nurse attendees. The Digestive Disease Institute care team executes endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), radio-frequency ablation (RFA), endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), gluing of gastric varices, stent placement, fistula creation and closure, POEMs and double balloon enteroscopy, among other treatments, while narrating and responding to questions from the audience. This unique opportunity is complemented by hands-on learning stations, as well as lectures, panels, and question-and-answer sessions with leading endoscopy, gastroenterology and hepatology experts.
Please join us for this distinct occasion to grow and deepen your gastroenterology and hepatology knowledge, interacting with executive director Richard Kozarek, MD, endoscopist Rajesh Krishnamoorthi, MD, director of education Blaire Burman, MD, and many others.
