Continued Nursing Education

Virginia Mason's Continuing Nursing Education provides educational activities for registered nurses (RNs) and other interested health care professionals to enhance knowledge, increase skills, and promote positive patient care outcomes. Fundamentals of critical care course support

The Society of Critical Care Medicine’s Fundamentals of Critical Care Support (FCCS) course is the only internationally recognized training program to teach important principles in the initial care of critically ill patients. One of the ultimate goals of FCCS is to help avoid morbidity and prevent mortality. Learn more.

Ongoing digestive disease educational activities

Host to a critically acclaimed Hepatology Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Gastroenterology Continuing Nursing Education course each spring, the Center for Digestive Health also teaches hundreds of local and visiting physicians through Grand Rounds each year. Additionally, Digestive Disease Institute providers are engaged in ongoing education through Live Endoscopy Courses and weekly conferences including a Gastroenterology Journal Club, Gastrointestinal Pathology Conference, Gastrointestinal Radiology Conference, Gastrointestinal Cancer Conference, and Liver Cancer Conference.
