The fee to attend Fundamentals of Critical Care Support for Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Employees is $150. Participants may register for the course and submit for reimbursement with their individual departments. Clinicians outside of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health are encouraged to attend FCCS.
Registration fees cover the course textbook and materials needed to successfully complete the course.
Registration will close one month prior to the scheduled course date to ensure participants receive their textbooks and have adequate time for preparation. If there is interest in the course after registration closes, pleases contact [email protected].
Failure to cancel via email to [email protected] 14 days prior to the registered course start date will result in forfeiture of the registration fee.
Fundamentals of Critical Care Support is a two-day, in person course, following current COVID-19 guidelines. The course begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.
Fundamentals of Critical Care Support will be held at the Franciscan Education Support Center in Tacoma, Wash. Participants will receive course materials and log-on resources one month prior to course date.
Successful completion of this course requires that the learner attend all lectures, actively participate in all teaching sessions, and pass a written exam.
Contact Hours have been applied for by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Education Services. Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #BRN_CEP 14239-235, for 16 Contact Hours.
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is accredited by the Washington State Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 16.0 AMA PRA Category 1 creditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This activity meets the criteria for up to 16 hours of Category I CME credit to satisfy the relicensure requirements of the Washington State Medical Quality Assurance Commission.
Participants who successfully complete FCCS course requirements will receive a dated certificate of completion. Certificates expire four years after issuance.
