As the Strategy leader for Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and the Northwest Region of CommonSpirit Health, Tom is the senior executive responsible for health system strategy, growth & expansion through M&A, joint ventures and partnerships with health system, hospital and ambulatory partners across the multi-state region and leads brand and market development efforts to connect with consumer, communities, payors and employers. He has nearly 25 years of health system strategy experience during which he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for Hackensack University Health Network (New Jersey), as well as in senior executive and strategy roles in California, Iowa, Indiana and Washington.
