Infection Prevention Resources

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is partnering with the American Nursing Association Project Firstline to promote education that keeps our health care workers and communities safe, especially from COVID-19, influenza, and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).

This site shares links for our Allied Health Community Partners and all members of our community. Check out this site regularly to access educational resources (including free professional continuing education credit), videos, and other tools to prevent infections.

One easy and proven way to limit the spread of infection, including seasonal influenza, COVID-19 and common childhood illnesses, is through immunization! Did you know that full immunization (documentation of vaccination or proof of acquired immunity) is required for any child attending school, preschool, or childcare in Washington state? School and Child Care Immunizations Information for Families and more can be found through the Washington Department of Health.
