Mushaf Haque, DO, is a dedicated fellow specializing in cardiology. Dr. Haque has a deep passion for helping patients maintain optimal heart health and prevent cardiovascular issues before they arise. Dr. Haque commits to faithfully serving every patient through compassionate care, honoring every patient’s unique background, and ensuring every patient is delighted with the quality of care they receive. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Haque enjoys exploring new destinations with his wife, who is also a physician. Together, they have traveled to numerous countries, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures and experiences. This love for travel enriches Dr. Haque's approach to medicine, bringing a diverse and global perspective to patient care.

Benjamin Ross, MD, is a dedicated fellow specializing in cardiology. He has a comprehensive background in internal medicine, having worked as a hospitalist at Evergreen in Kirkland, Wash., and completing one year of training in radiology at Emory University. Dr. Ross is particularly focused on preventive medicine and cardiovascular imaging, and is strongly committed to equity in health care. Dr. Ross conducted research in the Amazon in coordination with Johns Hopkins, and completed a Global Health Pathway focus in medical school at the University of Washington.

Dr. Ross believes in patient education to promote health and longevity. He is committed to medical innovation and lifelong learning. In his free time, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with his wife and infant daughter, and exploring all the Pacific Northwest has to offer, including fly fishing and mushroom foraging with his dog. He is passionate about living an active lifestyle that reflects his commitment to heart health.

Kunal Mishra, DO, is a dedicated fellow physician specializing in cardiology. Board certified in internal medicine and extensively trained in vascular medicine at the University of Virginia, Dr. Mishra embodies a commitment to comprehensive and holistic patient care in cardiovascular medicine. His approach integrates shared decision making, with a focus on the overall well being of each patient, ensuring not only the treatment of cardiovascular conditions, but also the promotion of long-term health and preventive strategies. Dr. Mishra takes the time to thoroughly answer his patients' questions, ensuring they fully understand their conditions and treatment options, which fosters a trusting and collaborative doctor-patient relationship. Dr. Mishra looks forward to partnering with referring providers and other specialists in a patient-centric care model at St. Joseph.

Dr. Mishra has authored several peer-reviewed articles focused on cardiology and peripheral vascular disease topics and has presented his research at multiple national conferences, including American College of Cardiology, SCAI and CVI. He is a member of the AMA and ACC. He was the winner of the 2022 Texas ACP Resident Oral Vignette competition. In his free time, Dr. Mishra enjoys travel, staying active, watching sports, and playing soccer.

Keerthana Pakanati, MD, is a dedicated fellow specializing in general cardiology. She has a personal interest in a multidisciplinary approach to cardiovascular health, with a focus on prevention and mitigation of risk factors, as well as women's cardiovascular health, specifically. She has seen the detrimental effects heart disease can have on a family, both in her personal and professional life, and she is committed to helping her patients with a holistic approach to their health.

Dr. Pakanati has presented research at multiple national conferences–including ACC, ASE, and ACLM. She is passionate about cardiac rehab and presented a quality improvement project dealing with patient referrals to the national ACC QI Summit. She also worked with many incredible female cardiologist mentors on an expert editorial related to Radiation Exposure, Training, and Safety in Cardiology that was published in JACC this past year.

She loves seeing her patient's take ownership of their health and believes when the patient and physician work as a team, wonderful things can happen. 

In her free time, Dr. Pakanati loves trying new restaurants, spending time with her husband, and exploring the beautiful outdoors here in the PNW!
