Our registered nurses are trained in Labor and Delivery, Special Care Nursery and Postpartum. Our team partners with the Northwest Family Medicine Residency, and receives special recognition for achieving advanced nursing degrees, specialty certifications, March of Dimes Nurse of the Year awards, and Daisy awards.

TeamBirth: Personalized care with a team approach

We are proud to use a model of care called “TeamBirth,” which centers you in all health care decisions made throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum. TeamBirth uses frequent “huddles” to make sure everyone knows what is happening and why – at every step of the way.

Patients love the TeamBirth model because if a decision needs to be made, it doesn’t happen at the nurses' station; it happens in your room. If you don’t understand something, you have a chance to clarify things with your whole care team during huddles. This not only involves you in all decisions, it leads to better communication all around, which results in better care for you and your baby.
