Multiple Sclerosis Center

The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Center at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, certified by the national MS society, is a leader in the diagnosis, management, and research of MS. MS is an immune disorder of the central nervous system that can cause many neurologic symptoms. Our specialists are nationally recognized for providing leading-edge treatments to manage symptoms and improve quality of life for people with MS.

A multidisciplinary approach to multiple sclerosis management

Our team includes fellowship-trained and board-certified neurologists, in addition to experts in neuro-rehabilitation, neuro-psychology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and social work. We also have experts in our clinics from urology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, pain management, and neuro-radiology who we work with closely.

In addition to managing neurologic symptoms, special attention is dedicated to mental health and wellness, and fall prevention.

Hope for a cure through research

The MS center participates in multiple international clinical trials dedicated to novel MS treatments and work with our research team at the Benaroya Research Insitute.
