Mathew Nicholls, MD, PhD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in conditions of the hip, knee and shoulder as well as fractures.
Dr. Nicholls enjoys the opportunity to make someone's life better and help them achieve their mobility goals though both surgical and non-surgical interventions. His goals are to increase motion and function, and eliminate pain. He is often inspired by his patients' drive to heal and to return to their active lifestyles.
Dr. Nicholls is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
Away from work, Dr. Nicholls enjoys mountaineering/climbing, skiing, scuba diving and traveling.
