Christopher Tomby, DO, is a board-certified family medicine physician who provides quality care to hospitalized patients as part of the Franciscan Inpatient Team. Dr. Tomby’s areas of expertise include lung disorders (asthma, COPD, pneumonia), heart disorders (congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease), cellulitis, diabetic ketoacidosis, sepsis, stroke and thyroid disorder.
Dr. Tomby believes patients should be an important part of the care management process and medical decision-making. Toward this end, he strives to help patients understand their disease process and the steps to improve their quality of life. He has a passion for helping others to achieve positive outcomes. In 2023 he was named Physician of the Year by Kingman Regional Medical Center in Arizona.
Away from work, Dr. Tomby enjoys exercise, nutrition, basketball, football, hiking and travel.
