Joe Brown, President, St. Francis Hospital, is a collaborative leader who brings 16 years of experience in health care administration to the hospital and community of Federal Way. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality care while engaging patients and families to provide an optimal patient experience.
Joe comes to Virginia Mason Franciscan Health from Lovelace Medical Center and Heart Hospital in New Mexico. Prior to joining Lovelace, Joe led national operations for acute care telemedicine subspecialty services at Access Telecare, and spent 13 years at Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas, where he served in a variety of leadership roles.
Joe is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, and he earned a Master of Health Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University.
