Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Expands Board of Directors

Seattle financial advisor David Hohimer joins board as 13th member, bringing unique experience, community connection

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is thrilled to announce David Hohimer has joined its Board of Directors. Hohimer is a highly experienced financial advisor based in Seattle, and previously served as Chair of the Highline Medical Center (St. Anne) Board of Directors. 

“It is an incredible honor to have David join our Board of Directors, bringing his deep passion for health care, direct connection to the communities we serve and business acumen to the table,” shared Dr. Uli Chi, Board Chair. “As we continue to grow and evolve as an organization, we look to our members to help guide and challenge us. I couldn’t think of a better addition than David to help lead us forward.” 

Hohimer’s career in the financial industry spans more than 33 years. He founded Hohimer Wealth Management more than five years ago after working at Wells Fargo for 13 years.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, David is deeply involved in community service. He has served on various civic boards, including the Normandy Park Board of Adjustment, Youth Dynamics, College Success Foundation, and the West Seattle Jr. Football and Cheer Association.

Hohimer resides in Seattle with his family of four adult children and a new grandchild named Charlie Kate.
