Dr. Dommermuth received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.
Following several active duty tours with the United States Navy, from 1987–1991 he received his Medical Education at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Dommermuth completed his Family Medicine Residency at Puget Sound Family Medicine from 1991–1994, then he completed a Fellowship in Family Medicine Obstetrics at University of Colorado, from 1996–1997.
He also completed the University of Washington Family Medicine Residency Faculty Development Fellowship from 1998–1999.
