Find a doctor

Seattle Mariners

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health and the Mariners believe in partnership with purpose, and with that philosophy we have found creative approaches to how a health care system and sports teams can partner. From working together to safely bring fans into the stadium during a pandemic, to bringing the same sustainability initiatives that won the M’s the two Green Glove awards into our system - shared learnings have led to innovation for both organizations.

Mariners programming throughout the season showcases key service lines like cardiovascular health, digestive health and neurosciences, with our doctors providing pro tips. During the months of May and June in honor of Mother’s and Father’s Day, we join arms with the M’s around Women’s and Men’s Health initiatives. Personal stories around survivorship serve as a reminder to fans and the community to see a doctor routinely to monitor their health.

Prostate Cancer Screening: Sept. 10

At Tuesday's, Sept. 10 Mariners game at T-Mobile Park, Mariners Care is supporting a prostate cancer screening event for Men age 50* and older.

The cancer screening is performed by a blood test for Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA). Virginia Mason Franciscan Health will be performing the blood draws from the start of the game through the third inning at the Rooftop Boardwalk on the Upper Concourse at T-Mobile Park. You will need a ticket to the game to access the screening. Results will be mailed to you.

Availability of this testing is limited and provided by Mariners Care Foundation.

If you have questions about PSA testing, please contact 206-287-6750.

*Men over the age of 40 with higher risk (family history or hereditary indications) may also be eligible.

Runs for Research

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health’s partnership with the Mariners led to the creation of the “Runs for Research” campaign. For every run the Mariners score this season, Mariners Care will donate to the Center for Neurosciences and Spine at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. This fund will benefit patient support services and important research within the neurosciences and spine service line. This partnership with the Mariners highlights the importance of spine health and other neurological disorders and the excellent care we provide our community.
