Annual Seahawks Youth Heart Screening Event

March 8 Youth Heart Screening Event

Presented by Virginia Mason Franciscan Health

Held annually at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center, this event helps protect young athletes from sudden cardiac arrest—the leading cause of death in exercising youth.

In partnership with the Nick of Time Foundation, free heart screenings include a family health history review, an electrocardiogram (EKG), and, if needed, an echocardiogram (ECHO), using testing protocols tailored for young hearts.
